Blessed Advent Season to all. I pray that everyone is healthy and happy this season as we come closer to the celebration of Christmas. Everyone is busy preparing for Christmas but let us not forget the best preparation is inside our hearts, to prepare the way of the Lord as John the Baptist proclaimed.

“Hoy, en este Domingo, comenzando el Tiempo de Adviento, inauguramos a la vez un nuevo año litúrgico. La venida de Dios es el gran acontecimiento. Dispongámonos a acogerlo con devoción: "¡Ven Señor Jesús".

A Blessed Christ the King Sunday to all! The solemnity of Christ the King is also celebrated by the different Christian denominations like Protestants, Anglicans, Orthodox, Methodist, Presbyterian, etc. all in one purpose, to proclaim that Christ the King.

November 9th marks the anniversary of the Dedication of the Lateran Basilica in Rome. We are reminded of the significance of that Basilica as the mother of all churches. It houses the Bishop of Rome, the Pope who is the head of the whole Roman Catholic Church although many think of Saint Peter's Basilica as the Pope's main church. Every Roman Catholic Bishop has a church as the seat of the diocese called “Cathedra” in Latin, meaning chair, the symbol of the bishop's authority.

First I want to thank those who shared their sympathy, support and prayers to my family during this moment of pain and loss as we brought our brother to his final resting place. Thank you so much on behalf of my family. The parable in the gospel about the Pharisee and tax collector teaches us not only to give from the heart but also to pray from the heart and be humble. Humility is an important virtue and faith.

San Jorge esta celebrando el Jubileo de 2025 con una PEREGRINACIÓN a la Catedral de la Anunciación. El concepto de "Jubileo" tiene su origen en el Libro del Levítico (capítulo 25), un año especial de reconciliación, peregrinación y retorno a casa. El Jubileo de San Jorge será un momento para recibir una INDULGENCIA plenaria y renovarnos como "Peregrinos de Esperanza".

“La fe es como una mariposa: nunca se quedaquieta por mucho tiempo, siempre cambia derumbo y a veces difícil de agarrar. Algunaspersonas muestran una fe inquebrantable en losmomentos más difíciles. Una anciana,hospitalizada por una enfermedad terminal, lepidió a su párroco que agradeciera a Dios porconfiarle sus aflicciones y darle la fuerza parasoportarlas con fe.
