First I want to thank those who shared their sympathy, support and prayers to my family during this moment of pain and loss as we brought our brother to his final resting place. Thank you so much on behalf of my family. The parable in the gospel about the Pharisee and tax collector teaches us not only to give from the heart but also to pray from the heart and be humble. Humility is an important virtue and faith.

San Jorge esta celebrando el Jubileo de 2025 con una PEREGRINACIÓN a la Catedral de la Anunciación. El concepto de "Jubileo" tiene su origen en el Libro del Levítico (capítulo 25), un año especial de reconciliación, peregrinación y retorno a casa. El Jubileo de San Jorge será un momento para recibir una INDULGENCIA plenaria y renovarnos como "Peregrinos de Esperanza".

“La fe es como una mariposa: nunca se quedaquieta por mucho tiempo, siempre cambia derumbo y a veces difícil de agarrar. Algunaspersonas muestran una fe inquebrantable en losmomentos más difíciles. Una anciana,hospitalizada por una enfermedad terminal, lepidió a su párroco que agradeciera a Dios porconfiarle sus aflicciones y darle la fuerza parasoportarlas con fe.

A famous musician known for playing different kinds of musical instruments died. In his last will and testament, he willed that his very expensive flute and guitar be buried with him inside the casket. The wife followed his will and the viewing created a little gossip among the crowd.

El Evangelio nos presenta la figura del administrador infiel: un hombre que se aprovechaba del oficio para robar a su patrón. Era un simple administrador, y actuaba como si fuera el dueño.

Today's fest reminds us of the importance of the “Cross” symbolic of God's greatest love to mankind. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life”. The cross is also symbolic to the trials and sacrifices life brings us and also reminds us of our own cross to be carried like Simon of Cyrene.

El Primer Mandamiento de la ley de Dios nos dice que hay que amarlo a el sobre todas las cosas. Seguir a Jesús es cosa seria. Ser Cristiano es mas que una tradición, una costumbre o una rutina: exige una radical opción personal de vida en la que se pone en juego lo más interior y autentico que somos. Hay que desperezarse, discernir, decidir y optar.
