Servant to All /Servidor de Todos

“If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last of all and the servant of all.” the disicples were arguing who is the greatest among them but Jesus taught them that the greatest is the servant of all. The “greatest” could be the strongest, smartest, richest, best, famous, popular, etc. But for Jesus it’s the opposite, the servant of all. Jesus taught the apostles the value of humble service. It takes humility to serve humbly. Jesus calls us to be HUMBLE or to be a humble servant a humble servant serves without expecting something in return. A humble servant serves God unconditionally thru the church. God called all of us to serve in many different ways like different ministries and organizations but God wants us to serve humbly and unconditionally. “For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled but the one who humbles himself will be exalted”. “Si alguno quiere ser el primero, será el último de todos y el servidor de todos”. los discípulos discutían sobre quién era el más grande entre ellos, pero Jesús les enseñó que el más grande es el servidor de todos. El “más grande” podría ser el más fuerte, el más inteligente, el más rico, el mejor, el famoso, el popular, etc. Pero para Jesús es lo contrario, el servidor de todos. Jesús enseñó a los apóstoles el valor del servicio humilde. Se necesita humildad para servir humildemente. Jesús nos llama a ser HUMILDES o a ser un siervo humilde un siervo humilde sirve sin esperar nada a cambio. Un siervo humilde sirve a Dios incondicionalmente a través de la iglesia. Dios nos llamo a todos a servir de muchas maneras diferentes como diferentes ministerios y organizaciones pero Dios quiere que sirvamos humildemente e incondicionalmente. “Porque todo el que se enaltece será humillado, pero el que se humilla será exaltado”. Dios te bendiga mientras sirves a la iglesia. Amén.
