“Esténpreparados,porque no saben a qué hora va a venir el Hijo del hombre” (Mt 24:42, 44).

1. ¿Qué se siente al prepararse cuidadosamente para un evento importante? ¿Cómo es llegar sin estar preparado a una reunión importante?
2. ¿Cuándo he sido excluido porque no estaba lo suficientemente preparado? ¿Cómo me sentí? ¿Cuándo he excluido a otros a quienes consideré no preparados?
3. ¿Estoy preparado para mi propia muerte? ¿Qué cosas podría querer hacer todavía?
4. ¿Cuándo he tenido que afrontar las desagradables cosecuencias de mis propios actos?
5. ¿Cómo atiendo la luz de Dios que hay en mi interior?

“Stay awake and be ready! For you do not know on what day your Lord will come” (Mt 24:42, 44).

1. What does it feel like to prepare carefully for an important event? What is it like to come unprepared to an important meeting?
2. When have I been excluded because I was not sufficiently ready? How did I feel? When have I excluded others whom I judged unprepared?
3. I am prepared for my own death? What things might I still want to do?
4. When have I had to face the unpleasant consequences of my own actions?
5. How do I tend the light of God that is inside me?
