The Parable of the Sower / La parábola del sembrador

The Parable of the Sower reminds us to bear good fruits. “But some seed fell on the rich soil and produced fruits, a hundred or sixty or thirtyfold. Whoever has ears ought to hear”. God planted the seeds but we need to provide the good soil in order to grow and bear fruits. How does this work? Read the Bible, the Word of God, so we know what kind of seeds he planted. Expose yourselves to God’s words and reflect what God is telling us. We cannot just go to Mass, recite long prayers, rosary and novena, we need to live with is and meditate it. Allow God to speak to you thru your faith, values, virtues and good deeds. Our prayers must be transformed into good actions, good values and good lessons to learn in order to bear good fruits. God invites us all to become nurturing seedbeds and fields for sowing and cultivating his words. Let us not just receive the Eucharist, let us BE the Eucharist to others by words and by deeds. Amen!

La parábola del sembrador nos recuerda que debemos dar buenos frutos. "Pero una semilla cayó en tierra fértil y produjo frutos cien, sesenta o treinta veces mayores. El que tenga oídos que oiga". Dios plantó las semillas, pero nosotros tenemos que poner la tierra buena para que crezcan y den fruto. ¿Cómo funciona esto? Lee la Biblia, la Palabra de Dios, para saber qué tipo de semillas plantó. Exponeros a las palabras de Dios y reflexionar sobre lo que Dios nos dice. No podemos limitarnos a ir a misa, recitar largas oraciones, el rosario y la novena, tenemos que vivir con ello y meditarlo. Deja que Dios te hable a través de tu fe, tus valores, tus virtudes y tus buenas acciones. Nuestras oraciones deben transformarse en buenas acciones, buenos valores y buenas lecciones que aprender para dar buenos frutos. Dios nos invita a todos a convertirnos en semilleros y campos para sembrar y cultivar sus palabras. No nos limitemos a recibir la Eucaristía, SEAMOS la Eucaristía para los demás con palabras y con obras. Amén.
