I am the Bread of Life / Yo soy el Pan de Vida

For many countries, bread is like a staple food to satisfy hunger, something very common food even in the ancient times. There are so many kinds of bread. Jesus tells the Jews that He is the bread that comes down from heaven. They murmured and questioned his identity. In our human mind it's truly hard to understand the concept of Jesus as the bread of life. Beyond extradorinary events, God can also be found in the ordinariness of our day to day lives. He reaveals Himself to us in many ways. God is a self-communicating God, always communicating himself and his goodness to the world because He loves the world so much. He sent His only Son Jesus to be with us. Jesus entire earthly life is revelation of God's love and goodness in the flesh, manifested in the ordinariness of daily life. In the Eucharistic revival time, let us not only renew our understading about the Eucharist but also our love in God. I am the living bread reminds us that Jesus can live in us and be with us in our day to day life. Trust Him, embrace Him and Love Him. Amen!

Para muchos países, el pan es como un alimento básico para saciar el hambre, algo muy común incluso en la antigüedad. Hay muchas clases de pan. Jesús dice a los judíos que Él es el pan que baja del cielo. Ellos murmuraron y cuestionaron su identidad. En nuestra mente humana es realmente difícil entender el concepto de Jesús como el pan de vida. Más allá de los acontecimientos extraordinarios, a Dios también se le puede encontrar en la cotidianidad de nuestro día a día. Se nos revela de muchas maneras. Dios es un Dios que se comunica a sí mismo, que siempre se comunica a sí mismo y su bondad al mundo porque ama mucho al mundo. Envió a su único Hijo, Jesús, para que estuviera con nosotros. Toda la vida terrena de Jesús es revelación del amor y la bondad de Dios en la carne, manifestada en la cotidianidad de la vida diaria. En el tiempo del avivamiento eucarístico, no sólo renovemos nuestra comprensión de la Eucaristía, sino también nuestro amor a Dios. Yo soy el pan vivo nos recuerda que Jesús puede vivir en nosotros y estar con nosotros en nuestro día a día. Confía en Él, abrázale y ámale. Amén.
