Duodécimo Domingo del Tiempo Ordinario / Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time

"En los momentos de perturbación, no nos dejemos vencer por el oleaje. No obstante, si soplare el viento, si se alborotan las pasiones de nuestra alma, no desesperemos: despertemos a Cristo, para que podamos navegar con bonanza y arribar al puerto de la patria." (San Agustín)

"Cuando en esa barca sube Jesús, el clima inmediatamente cambia: todos se sienten unidos en la fe en Él. La fe nos da la seguridad de la presencia de Jesús, siempre a nuestro lado, de su mano que nos aferra para sustraernos de los peligros." (Papa Francisco)

Jesús dijo a los discípulos ¿Por qué tenían tanto miedo? ¿Aún no tienen fe? (Mc 4, 40). Y lo mismo le dijo a Santa Faustina: "Hija mía, no tengas miedo de nada, Yo siempre estoy contigo, aunque te parezca que no esté." Y la Virgen de Guadalupe le dijo a San Juan Diego: "No se entristezca tu corazón… No estoy yo aquí que soy tu Madre?"

Jesus said to the disciples: Why are you terrified? Do you not yet have faith? (Mk 4, 40). He said the same thing to St. Faustina: "My daughter, fear nothing. I am always with you, even if it seems to you that I am not." And Our Lady of Guadalupe said to St. Juan Diego: "Don't let your heart be sad... Am I not here, me that I'm your Mother?
